I have found a niche that
I would like to market to and i would like to begin with article marketing to get traffic. I am confused about keyword relavancy vs the number of times the keyword is searched on google. Can you help me understand if i use a keyword where i want top organic listings how will people who is searching for thee niche blunder upon the keyword that i have used to promote if there are little or no monthly searches for that particular keyword, and there is little competition for the keyword in a related market that needs a solution to a problem. For example "dog training" is a very competitive keyword for top listings, and there are many searches for that keyword; however; "how to train your dog to stop using the bathroom in the house" is low competition for listings; which would be good to use in an article, but the search volume may be very low or no searches at all. Please help me understand using that example how i would generate traffic with the low competition keyword if any.

I have stripped down & reformatted every package {sales page] so that it is formatted correctly. Each graphic has been edited [cropped & resized] so that the page loads some 60% faster than the original. I have provided both a secure Order form & palpal for every product.

All pages has been money-tised for Adsense, every page is linked back to my main URL [parent site] @ http://www.dunway.com [which has a google ranking of 4/10] I have individually [every page] provided meta tags in the following: DOCTYPE 4.01 - Title - Description - Key Words & robots index & follow.
All Headings are in H1 - subheadings H2 etc, alt image tags, plus every page is linked to a site map.

Every sales page [all 83 of them] has an 'index link' which has an image & short product description.

Placed a few small trial affiliate ads in InetGiant, Webleeg, Classifieds for Free, Oodle, Web Classified, and Topix; I tried to take my interest and research them for niche marketing. That is where I ran into difficulty. I am not sure if I am too broad, too tight, too anything at this point. I have good readership on the SearchWarp, and Ezine. I am having some difficulty with my web page, trying to figure out what needs to be on there. And lastly, none of the ads have converted (no sales yet). I am in this for enjoyment, yes. I was reading part 5 of your mini course and when it came to having good and bad silos and theme bleeding, site 1 outranked site 2 as quoted below.

SITE 1: Heliguy.com
· Is a well siloed site
· Has a PR4
· Has 201 backlinks
· Google position 4
SITE 2: Hobbytron.com
· Is not a well siloed site
· Has a PR5
· Has 3,500 backlinks
· Google position 15
Conventional logic would say that SITE 2 should be the clear winner in the rankings but it isn't.
SITE 1 is the winner even though it has 3,300 less backlinks and has less of a PR rating.
The main reason behind this is the silo structure of SITE 1 as opposed to SITE 2. Another major reason is a phenomenon called "Theme Bleeding".
SITE 2 is bleeding theme like a stuck pig where SITE 1 is not.
SITE 1 is theming for the keyword "rc helicopter" better than SITE 2


The question is by comparing the sites how can I do an analyzes of site 2 to actually see the Theme Bleeding occurring, as I do not want to make the same mistakes when constructing my own sites?

BTW I’ve purchased The Master Plan and I find it very exciting reading and I will be implementing all the info in my future websites.

Most of the products I’ve considered promoting on Clickbank as an affiliate have heavy competition for all of the keywords that come up using Google Adwords Keyword tool. I know that competition is good and it usually indicates there is money being made in that market….but when so many of these popular niches (like weight loss) are so saturated, how/what do I base the selection of keywords on? I was hoping to find targeted long tail “buying words” with low competition, but the competition is also heavy going wide and deep. I think I’m just not getting something here. I keep starting over looking for a new product in a different niche hoping to find something to promote that doesn’t have tons of competition. I’m not getting anywhere but right back to where I started. I’m stuck. I just can’t seem to get past finding the right keywords to promote a product. Scanning a written response is so much faster! My real problem is I live in a remote mountain area, have a slow connection, and have to wait several minutes to download each audio, go do something else, then come back and listen to it whole. (But whole turns out to only be the first cut-off 2 minutes!)

“ Hi. My goal is to track the unique visitors to 10 different landing pages so I can test the lead conversion rates. The landing pages are owned by the affiliate program I joined but they will not separate the stat counter tracking code for each landing page. To get around this, I was thinking I needed to host some domains I set up for the purpose of redirecting(forwarding) to the landing pages I spoke about. I also want to mask the domains to keep my domains in the address bar. I am currently using Go Daddy to accomplish this and it is working fine, but again, my problem is I can\'t test the amount of unique users. On my domains I would enter my own script to redirect and mask to my affiliate landing pages and have a tracking script on each of the domains that will track unique visits and other marketing info.

Do you do any advertising on Yahoo?

I set up a load of ads yesterday only to find out that they were all disallowed. I got an email saying that you can not direct link unless you follow their close guideliness which includes putting (affiliate) on the ad to show that you are an affiliate.

I was following the Google Shadow system and I do not know how he gets away with direct linking based on my experience with the advertising guidelines.

Do you have any knowledge on this?
