“ I am having problems with videos on my site. They seem to work when used with IE as a browser. When viewed using Firefox they don't? Nothing is changed, only what browser. My URL is www.candlespinners.com. I have movies on many pages. You can get to them from a gallery on the site (ie. spinners, select one, the next page will have photos and a movie. Can you help me? I have gone nowhere sofar.

“ I might need to set up shopping carts for some of my clients and I have never done this before.
This would be for clients who own small businesses and would probably be selling their own physical products, such as clothing items, crafts, or health products.
On my Hostgator cPanel there are three options of carts I can install automatically:
CubeCart
OS Commerce
Zen Cart
Which would you recommend? Or do you know any pros/cons of the different choices? Or is there another type of shopping cart you would recommend?

“ What is the best technology to use to make an eCommerce website with a shopping cart?
For example, if a client of mine runs a clothing store or company, and they want people to be able to browse their products on their website, add and remove products to the store, perhaps have discounts or coupon codes apply in certain circumstances, and then make the order.
I've been making Wordpress blogs and other static sites for a long time, but have never done anything with a "secure" website or a shopping cart. I have stores that hook up to Amazon and eBay for affiliate sales, but this is a different matter. The kind of store I have in mind would have nothing to do with affiliate sales, it would just be for a small business or store that wants people to be able to make purchases online.
As a final question, is there is any way to do the above within the Wordpress framework, this is preferable. I prefer to work with Wordpress whenever I can.

My question today is: One of my streams of income will be selling actual products on the site that must be shipped :( I have started the design in Coffeecup Visual Website Designer latest version with the ability to add shopping cart and forms. The site is only going to be 5 or 6 pages. Has anyone used or have opinion on this software. Does anyone have an alternate software in mind? The site is looking pretty good in design phase, but I don't want it to look cheesy online. It is pretty easy to use.

I have a potential client who is a top dentist in his area and needs a new website or a revamp of his current site.
His current site has a link called "News, which links to some section of his static site but looks like it should link to a blog.
I want to replace this with a link to a blog.
The question - should I call it "News" or "Blog?" Or should there be both a section for news, and a section for the blog?

I would like to have more information on what "valid" code is, how to determine whether a sites code is valid, and, if possible, how this affects SEO.
Are there any good resource of information on this? I am not necessarily looking for entire books of information or web design technology. I just want to understand the basics of this subject, so that, even if I would hire an outsourcer to ensure my code is valid and SEO friendly, I would at least know what to ask for and what to look for.
