I also purchased a copy of your blog lockdown and I am humble and grateful for that information as well! I have a question about the first post on your blog (idiotproofblogging.com) How did you make your first post static. Normally when a new post is entered the first post takes the second position and then moved down to lower positions as other posts/content is added. How do you make the first post remain in the same place as subsequent posts are added. I would like to create something similar to get people to sign up for my free report that I am offering and that is really smooth the way that you have that there.

Sorry, another Q from me. CPA seems to be hot at the moment, but can you build a long term business on this model, or is it only good for making 'seed' money i.e here today but maybe gone tomorrow?

If CPA is what it's cracked up to be, can you use Google PPC or is it better to use adware CPV like Mediatraffic.com ?

If you are promoting a 'problem' niche topic i.e someone with back pain, or someone wanting to get back with their ex, or yeast infection etc etc, then how can you target a specific group in order to be specific. Someone wanting their ex back for example could be anybody in the world of any background. This is very different to a niche like dog training for chiwawas where you can really 'connect' with that specific audience.

While I was creating my e-book in one niche I ran upon some keywords in another niche; got excited and created a free report for a new niche. So I have a free report for one niche and an e-book for another niche unrelated to one another. I have a landing page for the free report already but I do not have an e-book to sell with the free report. What I have done is created a resource page in the free report where I am promoting network marketing products that will help with the problem people are having and in that free report I am telling people where they can purchase these unusual products.(network marketing products; with my id number given of course) And with that I plan to follow up and send more information about things in the future. Now with my e-book I do not have a free report; for the e-book I am only selling it for $7.00; so what is your advice as far as marketing these two unrelated niche products. Should I have a free report for the e-book or just market it and sell it straight out. Do you think promoting network marketing products in a free report is a good thing to do. “ Setting up the payment part of a paid-membership course...

Right now I'm having a site built for me (but Kevin Riley has sorted me out on that, but never-the-less, the process is already under way on this one), and the coder clearly has not worked with paid memberships before.

I want, once the user registers his credit card info, he'll receive the first four classes (this is a language teaching site) free, and on the day that the 5th class is released, if they haven't unsubscribed, their card will be charged and then each month on the same date afterwards (again, assuming they don't unsubscribe).

My coder said last night that he doesn't really know how to do that, and suggested that the user just pay again and again at the beginning of each month. Well, that's obviously not I want, so I'm wondering if any one (Kevin, have you got me again?) can help me get this going myself.

“ I'm in the USA and I'm interested in Trademarking a nickname. I'll use for an example:"The Touchdown Kid" or maybe like the movie the "Cincinnati Kid".These are only examples. Is this possible not being a proper name? Is there a reasonably uncomplicated way to do this myself without lawyers etc...? Any ideas on cost and time? Are there any links to software that anyone knows about to do this? I want to use this particular nickname on my website and marketing. I understand you cannot Trademark a domain, but that is not what I'm looking to do? Any ideas other than Legalzoom?

“ Hello. I have a free blogspot blog with google that i put up last year. I have not changed the content on it in one year; however out of 460,000 competing sites i am the 2nd position in google's organic search. I have figured out the keyword. I am promoting an affiliate product and i average about 2 sales a month from that keyword. My question is how can i capitalize on the keyword to increase purchases without jeopardizing my #2 spot out of 460,000 competing sites.
