“ I am finding this site to be a great value.

As it is a relativly new site I was wondering how it was doing.
There has not been a new newsletter for this month; I can imagine you are very busy.

I wish this site continued success. I hope to be promoting it in the near future.
So, how's it going, are you finding your audience? ”

“ This goes beyond duplicate content, it is about duplicate websites.

I have a product that will sell to multiple business markets with only very slight changes to the sales/squeeze pages.

I would have a site such as 14wayflorists.com and another like 14waybakery.com each with identical copy, other than the mention of a business type.

Am I going to be skunked by duplicate content?

What if I do my advertising by direct mail and don't rely on google? ”

“ How can I revive a dead newsletter, while changing what it does? Explanation:
Years ago, I created www.jetZILLA.com as an attempt at a full-blown online news & info magazine. This was largely a mistake, because of the large time commitment and effort involved; I never could keep up a regular issue schedule. Topica was used as a medium for announcing new editions, and I ended up with several hundred subscribers. Most of these have never opted out, even though I haven't published an issue in years. (The archived pages still get dozens of hits per month!)There was no attempt to sell anything; it was pure news & information.
Now, I want to use "jetZILLA" as a full-line product brand, not just the name of a magazine. And, I want the newsletter to become a very brief, but regular, issue to keep people informed about what I'm doing -- perhaps pointing to a blog (for news) or my latest sales pages or some such.
My real question is, how do I "re-introduce myself" to my Topica subscribers, keep them on board (if still interested in the hobby jet engine topic) and provide real value that will keep them coming back? In other words, how do I restore confidence? Secondarily, how could I start to use it to make a little ongoing passive income? (Right now, I have no "product", other than a lot of knowledge that beginners to the hobby might find useful.) ”

“ I wish to capture various screen shots of my computer when I am logged in to certain accounts I hold.

I then want to be able to show these screen shots in an ebook I am writing. Ideally the reader should be able to click on a link within the book and be shown a screen shot of my computer.

Can you tell me how to do this please ? ”

“ Hi Matt Garrett thank you for answering my question. In my answer you talked about back links; what are they and how do they bring value to your web site. Also have you run across people using your article on the internet after you have submitted it to different directories. What i mean is i have seen some of my articles on sites where people can use it as if they have written it. Is there a way to avoid that from happening or is that just what happens
when you submit an article. ”

“ This is a follow up question for Matt Garrett. The original question was:
Question ID: 2726350 Answer No:539

I wanted to let you know that I tried your suggestions and they did not work. I have been using NVU's Komposer software but it should not have made a difference.

I first tried to open a PHP file from inside the program. As you told me, I opened Komposer and using the file open option I tried to open a file with a php extension. I got a reply back stating that this is not an HTML file.

I then changed the default so that any php file when opened would automatically be sent to Komposer. But I still got the error message "This is not an HTML file.

I also tried to open an Apache file and a MySQL file and was unable to.

In the past two days I have looked on you tube for some help. One video had me download
a file called XAMPP. It has all three programs in one file. I got error messages that said that the ports for SQL and Apache were already in use therefore I could not install this program.

Today I found a video tutorial that was more than I believe I needed, but also it did not work on my computer. It was a program called WinLamp. I had to load some additional software, but it was easy enough.

The problem was that when I ran WinLamp the Apache 2.2 always came up as an error message.

I purchased a new computer a couple of months ago. It is an HP Pavilion Vista Home Premium 64 bit Edition.

Since I have had this computer I have had problems with downloading things from the Internet. Most companies have not upgraded to 64-Bit. Some are just coming out with Vista 32.

For example I purchase a set of programs to help handle different problems. One of these programs is RegCure. It has the ability to do many of the things I need done, but it can not work on my computer.

Sorry for the long note. Where do I go from here?

Thank you

“ Hi, how do you change the standard PayPal buy now / order now button?

I want to add my own button so what I had done was gave the button a URL, uploaded the button through my FTP, then pasted the PayPal code into my web page. The function of the button works but the image isn't there. I tired uploading my entire image fold & that didn't work either.

Thanks for your time.

“ RSS Feeds - I am looking at adding Rss Feeds to a website that I have. My question is this. Can you be specific about the content of your rss feeds. For instance if an article site only has a clothing section, but I want a more specific item of clothing e.g. corsets, which are included in the clothing section, but I don't want other articles on every other type of clothing, can I have an rss feed on corsets, can that be done. Can it be coded to cover that particular content, rather than a mish mash of clothing which isn't specific to the page in question that I want to put the rss feed on. If it can be done who would be the best person to do this coding. What type of person would I look to get to do this. By this I mean a script coder or???

Thankyou for your assistance in advance. ”
