Do you do any advertising on Yahoo?

I set up a load of ads yesterday only to find out that they were all disallowed. I got an email saying that you can not direct link unless you follow their close guideliness which includes putting (affiliate) on the ad to show that you are an affiliate.

I was following the Google Shadow system and I do not know how he gets away with direct linking based on my experience with the advertising guidelines.

Do you have any knowledge on this?
