“ I am working on testing and tweaking the monetization on my blogs.
I know every niche is different - but can you give me some idea of what you consider to be good/fair/average/poor ECPMs?
For example, on a technical site which sells gadgets. Not necessarily on a "big money keyword" site.
And I know placement on page is a factor. I am talking about ECPMs for the best placed ads on the page.
If the answer is too diverse to give an estimate, examples or resources would be great as well.
Thanks!

“ I am looking for a software application which works offline and has a timer similar to that of Freshbooks.
Freshbooks allows you to set up certain projects and tasks and then use a start/stop timer to keep track of how much time you spend on each task.
This is used for when you are doing Freelance work by the hour. But it is also a very useful time management tool, and can allow you to easily keep track of what you spend time on. So that if, at the end of the month, you are wondering why you are still so behind, you can check your records and find that you spent 55% of your time on Twitter. And then you know what the problem is.
Do you know of such a timer which exists and runs offline? I need this because I have a slow and unstable satellite connection, and also have bandwidth limits to watch. ”

“ I am looking at the bounce rate for one of my websites. It is in the high 60s (as in 68% 69%) per Google Analytics. I would like to improve this.
My question is whether you have advice on good sources of information which would help me to understand and improve my bounce rate.
I am aware that I can Google it and find data on bounce rates, but what I am hoping for is a recommendation by an EA expert on good sources of information on this subject.
What I am trying to understand, or at least find out how to establish, is:
1. Is there a normal or average bounce rate, and/or a range which is considered to be above average or below average?"
2. If the answer to #1 depends on the niche, then how would I find out the averages for the type of website I have? (I don't want to discuss the details on EA, but most of my visitors are looking for information on a certain technology and/or looking to purchase items which use that technology.)
3. Is there a good source of advice or information on how to improve my bounce rate?
Thanks very much! ”

“ Is it possible to track where a sale came from. In other words If I run an article I'd like to know that that article resulted in x number of purchases for that day. If I run an adwords ad I'd like to know that a particular ad resulted in a sale or two. How detailed can I track my sales? ”

“ I realize the importance of testing and tracking everything. It seems so overwhelming to think about. Is there a way you could break it down it to some simple rules and tools for how and what I should be testing and tracking? Also is there a good resource to learn this stuff? ”

“ Re: Checking for Duplicate Content
Is there a service or program which can check my site in one go for duplicate content?
The reason is that I often outsource my blog posts and articles. The writers I use are pretty trustworthy and I have checked occassionally but sometimes I don't have time to check the articles for a while. (Plus I am not sure which service to use for this since I seem to have to pay to check the same domain several times a month.)
It would be good if I could just periodically check my whole site(s) all in one go. Is there a service or program which will allow me to do this for a domain instead of having to check each individual webpage? ”

“ I am doing article marketing and video marketing. I am looking for a way to track what article site or video site my traffic is coming from; or for that matter a specific article or video that I have done and generated traffic from so that I can market extensively in that area a little more. Is there a way to pinpoint where the traffic originated from to my website or blog. Is there a tool that can determine this where I can place it on my website, salespage, or blog. Please advise.
In advance thank you for your answer. ”

“ I'm thinking of promoting a number of different products using articles, adwords etc. How do I set up my site to track my marketing. I've seen systems where the marketeer has set up one domain name and then has unique pages for each product that redirects to the product page. How does that help and how are they tracking the visitor. And is this a good strategy? ”

“ In many reports I have read, they always speak about the importance of monitoring your blog/website analytics, including the number of visitors, page views, where they come from, what pages did they view, etc., etc. I have never once seen any detailed information about how to do this. It is usually just mentioned as though the reader should already know how to do it. Like a lot of Internet Marketing instructions and reports I read, the real “meat” of “How to Do It” is left out as though it is secret information. Where do I go for more information regarding site analytics and how to monitor traffic.
Please respond with a specific overview of this topic, then include specific steps to take and also speak about any special software (preferably free) needed to carry out these tasks. Thank you very much.

“ I'd like to use stats junky for checking all my affiliate sales in one place, however if I'd like to use a program like LPgen or SpeedPPC which brings search terms into dynamically generated landing pages, can I use these together? Given quality score issues, these landing page programs seem like a must. ”

“ I would first of all like to acknowledge what a great job you all are doing. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
My question concerns tracking traffic and conversions. Is there a product that you would recommend? I have a couple of websites and need to start really analyzing my traffic statistics.
